Letterkenny Chess & Draughts Club A new combined chess & draughts club was formed in Letterkenny on Wednesday 22nd January 2002. The club will cater for all chess and draughts enthusiasts in the central Donegal area. It will meet in Gallagher's Hotel, Upper Main Street, Letterkenny, every Wednesday night at 8.00pm-11.00pm. The elected committee comprise of: Hon.Chairman; Hugh Devlin, Hon.Secretary: Val Cronin, Hon.Treasurer: John Sweeney, and Hon.P.R.O.: Danny Devlin. Limerick Draughts Club
Play every Tuesday night at the Grandstand in Cathedral Place, Limerick. Since 1992 the club has won 9 major tournaments, 4 All Ireland Inter counties, 1 Irish masters, 2 Irish seniors, 1 English senior & 1 British senior. Anybody interested in playing draughts is welcome to play a few games at the Grandstand.
