The late Derek Oldbury played so many beautiful games
that it is hard to pick just one of them. This game was played at the 1983 International
Match between the USA and the British Isles. Oldbury played the white side in this game
against Paul Davis. Here Davis pitches a piece to run for a king, but Oldbury promptly
sacrifices it back to do the same, polishing it all off with a pretty shot to secure a
fine win.
